What I wish more women knew about their health

I wish more women knew that their body isn't working against them.

So many of my nutrition clients feel frustrated, exhausted, and confused by their symptoms - the bloating, the fatigue, the cravings, the waking in the night, the weight that wont shift. It often feels like their body is failing them.

But more often than not, it's actually the opposite.

Your body is constantly trying to protect you.

It adapts to stress.

It sends signals when something is out of balance or not right.

These symptoms you're experiencing? They're not random. They're communication.

What I wish more women understood is that:

  • Skipping meals and running on caffeine isn't supporting your metabolism

  • Restricting more foods wont heal your gut and your IBS

  • You can't out-eat, out-exercise or out-supplement a stressed body

  • Constantly pushing through exhaustion only drives deeper imbalance

And most importantly: your body needs to feel nourished and supported before it can heal.

For many women the message has been blurred for a long time. But what we really need to be doing is:

  • Eating regularly and enough.

  • Getting adequate protein and water

  • Supporting the nervous system

  • Slowing down (even just a little bit)

And these things sounds simple, but they are powerful.

You don't need a perfect diet.

You don't need to be doing everything all at once.

You don't need to be harder on yourself.

You need to take a step back and work on the basics,

get support, and have a 'consistency over perfection' approach.

Your body isn't broken.

It's asking you to listen.

If this post speaks to where you’re at, I share more support like this in my consultations where we take a deeper, personalised approach to your health.
